A Gift for the Year of the Snake

As the Chinese Lunar New Year approaches, we are excited to present you with a special gift from our students—the BBSG Student Artwork New Year Calendar.

Since the beginning of the 2024-25 academic year, the BBSG Visual Arts team has organised the New Year Calendar Art Competition. Over the course of several months, they received more than 400 student artwork submissions.

The students showcased a variety of artistic styles, from vivid paintings and handcrafted creations to snake motifs and abstract colour expressions. These works reflect the rich artistic exploration undertaken in their visual arts lessons.

After a rigorous selection process, 12 exceptional artworks were chosen to be featured in the 2025 BBSG New Year Calendar. These pieces capture the students' imaginations of the "Year of the Snake" and their aspirations for a wonderful year ahead. The calendar has been printed and distributed to every member of our community.
