Mr. Tines has taught acting, dance, movement, and theatre history for over forty years. He used to serve as the Executive Director of the Paul Mellon Arts Centre and head of the Choate Rosemary Hall Arts Department, Assistant Head of School for Advancement at the Marvelwood School, Dean of the Arts at the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans and Dean of the Performing Arts at the Dwight-Englewood School. In addition, Paul was the Musical Theatre Academy Executive Director of Broadway Asia Entertainment, establishing musical theatre academies in China and South Korea.

He has directed and choreographed over 150 musicals and plays at the Paul Mellon Arts Centre (Choate), Ward Centre for the Arts (St. Paul’s Schools), Austin Arts Centre (Trinity College), The Contemporary Arts Centre and Newman Arts Centre (NOLA), Newton Country Players and Lexington Players (Boston), and other regional theatres. His students have appeared on Broadway and the West End in Matilda, Finding Neverland, Getting the Band Back Together, POTUS, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, Rock of Ages, The Lion King, Groundhog Day, Paradise Square, High School Musical and Shucked.

Mr. Tines has earned degrees from Johns Hopkins University, M.A.; Wesleyan University, Certificate of Advanced Studies; Pacific Western University, B.A.; and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He has participated in the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Arts, and Passion-Driven Learning Institute; Harvard Graduate School of Education, MBE Institute; and was an NAIS Fellow for Aspiring School Heads.

Dr. Chen is a highly respected expert in the field of STEAM Education with 10+ experiences and has unique insights into the development of AI curriculum. Having had obtained his post-doctoral fellowship in wireless sensor networks from CREST R&D Centre (USA) and PhD in Global Information and Telecommunication Studies from Waseda University (Japan), Dr. Chen has extended experience in leading academic research in key universities, establishing and managing IB/A-Level international schools by taking leadership responsibilities.

Additionally, as a Japan MEXT Global COE Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award winner, Dr. Chen owns many patents and has published 3 high quality SCI-indexed journal papers and 20+ international conference papers as the 1st author.

Mr. Williams is a highly experienced educator with an impressive 22-year tenure in the teaching industry. He has gained international teaching experience in countries such as Qatar, South Korea, Singapore, Mongolia, Thailand, and China. He was honoured with the Employee of the Year Award (China) with his previous school and was an inaugural inductee into the school’s High Performance Program. In addition to his teaching accomplishments, Mr. Williams has shared his expertise at prominent conventions, including EdCon 360 in 2021 and the 2020 International and Bilingual Schools China Conference.

Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Political Science from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, as well as a PGCEi and Master’s degree from the University of Nottingham, UK.

He believes that inspiration and differentiation are paramount skills for any educator. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys reading, writing, and swimming. He achieved third place in the New Zealand National Writing competition, reached the final round of The Bangkok Poetry Slam, and is currently working on the third draft of his first novel.

Ms.Jiang holds the national first-level teacher title and has over 10 years of teaching experience in the field of international bilingual education. She has served as the Deputy Head of the Chinese department at a renowned international bilingual school in Shenzhen, overseeing the Primary Chinese curriculum. She has played a leading role in curriculum development and classroom instruction. She is very interested in creative writing and has received the Outstanding Guidance Teacher Award at the International School Chinese Poetry Contest for four consecutive years. She also won the Outstanding Guidance Teacher Award in the first National Creative Writing Competition.

Ms. Jiang holds a dual bachelor's degree in Education and Literature from South China Normal University. With her passion for education, she further pursued a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Jiang's exceptional academic performance earned her a first-class scholarship.

She believes what Confucius has said Those who love it are better than those who know it, and those who delight in it are better than those who love it and hopes that every child will not only learn but also love learning, becoming a lifelong learner who finds joy in it.

In her spare time, she likes skiing, hiking, and playing board games.

In his previous role as Head of the Mathematics and Science Department, Mr. Xia demonstrated strong leadership and mentorship capabilities. His expertise spans various international curricula, including the IB, A-Level, IGCSE, and CNC. This diverse experience enables him to adeptly integrate different educational frameworks into daily instruction, enhancing the learning experiences of his students. His students have achieved remarkable successes, with some currently pursuing their studies at renowned institutions such as MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge, and Imperial College London.

Mr. Xia firmly believes that stimulating critical thinking and creativity is fundamental to student development. He always encourages students to engage deeply with concepts and ideas, fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation in the classroom.

Ms. Wang holds a degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Central China Normal University.

Over the past nearly 15 years, Ms. Wang has accumulated extensive teaching experience across various roles. Her career includes serving as a Homeroom Teacher, Year Team Leader, Primary Chinese Language Leader, PYP Coordinator, and Assistant Head of Primary.

Mr. Barnes graduated from King’s College London with a Master’s in International Education and from University of Canterbury with a Bachelor’s in Education.

His previous roles include serving as the MYP Coordinator and Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator for an IB candidate school. Mr. Barnes has extensive experience working with new schools to develop and implement meaningful curricula. Mr. Barnes' teaching philosophy centres on cultivating critical thinking skills in students.

Mr. Guo holds an M.S. in Communication and Information Systems from Harbin Engineering University and has six years of experience in STEM and innovation education. 

 He was the Curriculum Design Lead for the DJI RoboMaster S1 robot and has served as a Lead Trainer for the Guangdong Provincial AI Innovation Education Program and a Mentor for the Shenzhen Teachers' Maker Marathon. 

 With a strong engineering background, he focuses on AI-Augmented Teaching and specializes in Interdisciplinary Curriculum Design (STEAM) and Gamified Learning, transforming complex engineering concepts into engaging learning experiences.

Ms. Zhang holds a master’s degree from Sun Yat-sen University and a teaching license in early childhood education from Washington, D.C., USA. She is a certified Positive Discipline Parenting and School Educator, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, specializing in Special Educational Needs. 

With teaching experience in the UK, Romania, and a leading bilingual school in Shenzhen, Ms. Zhang brings extensive multicultural and international teaching experience to her practice. She combines solid theoretical knowledge with practical expertise in language education. Integrating cross-cultural perspectives with professional expertise, Ms. Zhang nurtures students in a warm and supportive environment. She is dedicated to fostering their holistic development and character growth.

With nine years of experience in education, Ms. Jiang’s expertise spans across renowned international schools in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou in both teaching and administration. As a founding member of new international schools, she played a key role in shaping academic foundations and operational practices. Her visionary leadership led to the development of a comprehensive dual literacy program, instructional leadership teams, and a robust social-emotional learning curriculum, enhancing the educational experience for students and promoting holistic development. 

During her tenure as Head of Primary School in Beijing, she led the institution to achieve prestigious accreditations, including Cognia and WASC candidacy. She has also guided students to excel in various academic events and competitions, earning regional gold medals and high scores in competitions like USAP. She was awarded the Outstanding Coach. 

Continuing her commitment to professional growth, she is pursuing a Master's degree at North Arizona University, following her Bachelor's degree in English from Guangdong Ocean University and an educational leadership certificate from the University of Newcastle Australia.

Mr. Stevens has over a decade of experience, including four years in international education. He has taught across all primary year groups and served as a middle leader and Designated Safeguarding Lead working across the UK, Malaysia and China. 

 Mr. Stevens is passionate about child development and prioritises creating safe, happy, and engaging learning environments. His teaching approach emphasises holistic growth and active learning. Outside the classroom, he enjoys sports such as football, rugby, squash, and pickleball, as well as travelling as much as possible.

Mr. Weait holds an MA in TESOL and Educational Leadership and Management.

With 14 years of experience teaching English in China, spanning four countries and six Chinese cities, he has developed profound insights into instructing students from diverse backgrounds and abilities across various curricula.

His teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive learning environment that prioritises skill development intending to enhance students' abilities comprehensively, emphasising both overall skill improvement and exam success.
