Mr. Skouri holds a Master's in Education and Digital Pedagogical Development, as well as a Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française C2 from Alliance Française. He is extensively certified in the IB programme, including qualifications in Investigating Inquiry, PYP, MYP and DP.

With a rich professional background, in prestigious schools across Colombia,  Bangladesh, and Estonia, Mr. Skouri specialises in French language teaching and curriculum development.  In addition to his teaching and coordination roles, Mr. Skouri has been actively involved with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) as a visitor.

Mr. Skouri is deeply interested in technology and enjoys staying updated with the latest tech trends. He is fluent in French, English, Arabic, and Spanish.

Ms. Tan has 20 years of English teaching experience to all ages and levels, extensively in bilingual Science /STEM instruction to Primary students.

Ms. Tan believe we must teach students holistically, caring not only for their intellectual but emotional development. This way we can instill the skills and approaches they need to “be future ready” so they will not only succeed in life, but flourish.

Most recently, a team project she was deeply involved in was recognized for excellence and outstanding achievement by Cambridge International Education and was published internationally for use in teacher training and pedagogy.

Ms. Tan have a longstanding interests in cooking, baking, and confectionery skills. In her spare time she is an avid reader and love traveling domestically and internationally. Culturally, as a member of the Tujia, she have a deep interest in learning about different minority groups.

Ms. Liang is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Leading Innovative Learning Organizations at the Education University of Hong Kong. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology in Education.

Ms. Liang is an ISTE certified educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and Apple Teacher.

With eight years of teaching experience, Ms. Liang is an EdTech enthusiast specialising in facilitating EdTech programs and running makerspaces. Her professional background includes serving as an Innovation Coach and STEAM coordinator at international schools in Beijing and Guangzhou.

Mr. Elmes holds a Graduate Diploma of Teaching and has over 35 years working experience in international schools, including in Thailand, Japan and New Zealand as a Materials Technology teacher and Specialist Team Leader and homeroom teacher.

His passion lies in real-world, authentic project-based learning. He creates opportunities for students to collaborate, bringing and developing a wide range of skills and knowledge to meet genuine, real-world design challenges.

Ms. Li holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biological Science from UCLA, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership in Practice from the University of Manchester.

Her professional qualifications include a PGCE, an IBDP Biology Teacher Training Certificate, and registration as an AP Biology and Chemistry teacher.

Ms. Li's career includes roles as Academic Head, Head of Science, and Science Teacher. She has extensive experience teaching various curricula including AP, IGCSE, IB, and HKDSE. Her contributions have been instrumental in establishing international curriculum systems and organising teaching seminars.

Mr. Wang holds a degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from UK and a Master's Degree in Education from Arizona State University in the US.

In the classroom, Mr. Wang channels his passion for physics and technology, firmly believing in education's transformative power. He is committed to inspiring students to explore the world's wonders.

Beyond academics, Mr. Wang is an avid sports enthusiast, particularly in basketball and football, and enjoys amateur commentary. He is also musically talented, playing the saxophone and having achieved Level 10 proficiency in accordion.

Ms. Gao holds a BSc in Biotechnology and a MSc in Conservation Biology from The University of Queensland in Australia. She worked as a coastal and environmental consultant at WWF and several education NGOs, which brought together her passions for science and teaching. 

Prior to joining Benenden Guangzhou, Ms. Gao taught A-Level and IGCSE Biology in both public and international schools. Ms. Gao enjoys teaching all levels of science but especially enjoys biology. Getting to know students outside of the classroom through coaching is also a favourite past time of hers. As a strong believer in student empowerment, Ms. Gao values a curious mindset, active learning, and student voice. She endeavours to always be learning something new with her students. 

In her free time, she can be found with her family, reading, hiking or practising yoga.

Mr. Kuchkarov holds a Postgraduate Certificate in International Education and a BA in Computer Science. His teaching experience includes instructing Data Science courses at university level and serving as an ICT and Computer Science teacher in K-12 schools.

Mr. Kuchkarov's educational philosophy is founded on the belief that learning is a lifelong journey. He is fluent in English, Chinese, Tajik, and Russian.

Mr. Tennant holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, an MSc in Molecular Immunology, a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management, all from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He teaches Biology, Environmental Systems and Societies, and Chemistry in the IBDP programme and has served as Head of Science and Extended Essay Coordinator at international schools.

Mr. Tennant has over 13 years of experience in the education sector in Malaysia, teaching at pre-university, graduate, and postgraduate levels. Believing that teachers should facilitate learning, he advocates for student-centred approaches such as flipped classrooms, digital media, and project-based learning.

Mr. Lao brings forth a wealth of expertise, boasting over 3 years of experience in bilingual science teaching. Demonstrating adeptness in integrating innovative experiments into the teaching paradigm, Mr. Jackie Lao specialises in imparting foundational scientific knowledge, fostering a heightened enthusiasm and interest in the subject among students.

Mr. Lao has been honoured as an Outstanding Teacher in the Beipian District of Panyu. He has received a Second Prize in the Panyu District Young Teachers' Teaching Ability Competition and a Second Prize in the Panyu District Experimental Teaching Presentation Competition. Furthermore, Mr. Lao possesses extensive experience in guiding students to success in various competitions, with several accolades earned in local Youth Innovation and Technology competitions.

Ms. Xia has 7 years of teaching experience as a teacher of IB DP and IGCSE History subjects in top international schools in South China. She is experienced in teaching IB MYP history and curriculum integration, and was awarded the title of Outstanding Teacher of the school.

She used to serve as the Head of Individual and Social Program of the Academic Committee and the host of the research project. Her students' IB DP history scores exceeded the world average and IGCSE scores were high, and they were selected as finalists of IHBB Asia. Her students' dissertations to be published in monographs and books.

Ms. Xia graduated as Master in World History from South China Normal University, and is a National first-grade teacher.

Ms. Yang has a wealth of professional knowledge and passion for geography education. She is good at 'breaking' the walls of the classroom, leading students to learn geography knowledge from real life, focusing on the cultivation of thinking, and focusing on students' problem-solving skills.

Ms. Yang graduated as Master from King's College London and has 3 years experience in the education industry.
