Mr. Barry has extensive teaching experience in Chemistry and Physics across international and bilingual schools, where he has led curriculum design, academic strategy, and university guidance. His roles have included mentoring senior students, coordinating enrichment programmes, and promoting pedagogical excellence.

Mr. Barry is passionate about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in learners, believing that education should challenge and empower students to reach their full potential. He has worked in both the UK and China, bringing a global perspective to his teaching. Outside the classroom, he enjoys sports, martial arts, music, and lifelong learning.

Ms. Gao holds a BSc in Biotechnology and a MSc in Conservation Biology from The University of Queensland in Australia. She worked as a coastal and environmental consultant at WWF and several education NGOs, which brought together her passions for science and teaching. 

Prior to joining Benenden Guangzhou, Ms. Gao taught A-Level and IGCSE Biology in both public and international schools. Ms. Gao enjoys teaching all levels of science but especially enjoys biology. Getting to know students outside of the classroom through coaching is also a favourite past time of hers. As a strong believer in student empowerment, Ms. Gao values a curious mindset, active learning, and student voice. She endeavours to always be learning something new with her students. 

In her free time, she can be found with her family, reading, hiking or practising yoga.

Mr. Kuchkarov holds a Postgraduate Certificate in International Education and a BA in Computer Science. His teaching experience includes instructing Data Science courses at university level and serving as an ICT and Computer Science teacher in K-12 schools.

Mr. Kuchkarov's educational philosophy is founded on the belief that learning is a lifelong journey. He is fluent in English, Chinese, Tajik, and Russian.

Mr. Lao brings forth a wealth of expertise, boasting over 4 years of experience in bilingual science teaching. Demonstrating adeptness in integrating innovative experiments into the teaching paradigm, Mr. Jackie Lao specialises in imparting foundational scientific knowledge, fostering a heightened enthusiasm and interest in the subject among students.

Mr. Lao has been honoured as an Outstanding Teacher in the Beipian District of Panyu. He has received a Second Prize in the Panyu District Young Teachers' Teaching Ability Competition and a Second Prize in the Panyu District Experimental Teaching Presentation Competition. Furthermore, Mr. Lao possesses extensive experience in guiding students to success in various competitions, with several accolades earned in local Youth Innovation and Technology competitions.

Ms. Xia has 7 years of teaching experience as a teacher of IB DP and IGCSE History subjects in top international schools in South China. She is experienced in teaching IB MYP history and curriculum integration, and was awarded the title of Outstanding Teacher of the school.

She used to serve as the Head of Individual and Social Program of the Academic Committee and the host of the research project. Her students' IB DP history scores exceeded the world average and IGCSE scores were high, and they were selected as finalists of IHBB Asia. Her students' dissertations to be published in monographs and books.

Ms. Xia graduated as Master in World History from South China Normal University, and is a National first-grade teacher.

Ms. Yang has a wealth of professional knowledge and passion for geography education. She is good at 'breaking' the walls of the classroom, leading students to learn geography knowledge from real life, focusing on the cultivation of thinking, and focusing on students' problem-solving skills.

Ms. Yang graduated as Master from King's College London and has 3 years experience in the education industry.

Mr. Williams brings 22 years of teaching experience from various countries, including the UK and China. He has served as the head of subject and has successfully guided numerous students through examinations in a range of social studies subjects in A Level, IB and IGCSE.

With extensive pastoral experience, including service as a head of year, Mr. Williams demonstrates a commitment to students' holistic development.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Williams is an avid traveler and food enthusiast, he believes that life experience contributes to cultivating global perspectives.

Ms. Seager is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree, building on her Bachelor of Teaching (majoring in Primary Education) and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in International Languages and Culture).

Her teaching experience includes serving as a Year 1 homeroom teacher at an international school in Qingdao, China. Before this, Ms. Seager taught lower primary in New Zealand, bringing a blend of international and domestic teaching experience to her role.

With 20 years in international teaching, Mr. Glenday brings deep expertise in curriculum leadership and classroom instruction. He has served as a subject leader in History and Geography, coordinated student councils, and contributed to school-wide initiatives that foster inclusive and engaging learning environments.

Mr. Glenday is committed to student-centred education, integrating inquiry-based learning, assessment for learning, and clear goal-setting to nurture confident, independent learners. He values holistic development, promoting outdoor education, student leadership, and ethical growth.

Mr. Glenday enjoys hiking, cycling, live music, and creative writing.

Mr. Delaney obtained his teaching degree in Australia. His career has spanned both London and Australia, where he has worked with a diverse range of children and inspire them in specialist subjects.

Having spent a significant portion of his formative years in China, Mr. Delaney brings a unique cultural perspective to his teaching approach and is committed to bringing holistic and international education to his students.

Mr. Boyne holds a BSc (Honours) in Business Management and has obtained the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching (NPQLT).

His diverse teaching experience spans Kent and London, enriching his pedagogical approach. Mr. Boyne is passionate about incorporating technology and modern teaching methods to support his students. He firmly believes that teaching practices should continually adapt to our ever-changing world and prepare students to be future-ready.

Ms. Elmes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the US, and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary) from New Zealand.

With over 25 years of teaching and management experience, Ms. Elmes has worked across a diverse range of ages, schools, and countries including the US, New Zealand, and Japan, enriching her educational perspective and approach.
