Dr. Song has more than 10 years of experience in the education industry. Her students won many championships and runners-up places, as well as gold, silver, and bronze medals in various national and international Taekwondo competitions. She was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Coach" for multiple times.

Dr. Song holds a PhD (Education) degree at SEGi University & Colleges, and a Master degree at Beijing Normal University.

Mr. Matsiyevych is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Physical Education. With eight years of experience as a Physical Education (PE) teacher in China, he brings extensive expertise in management and sports event organization to BBSG.

He has obtained several professional qualifications, including a TEFL/TESOL certification, UEFA Football License C, Fitness License GYM Coach, and Swimming License from ASCA. Mr. Matsiyevych has also participated in IB PYP and IB MYP workshops.

With diverse sporting interests including boxing, wrestling, football, tennis, and swimming, Mr. Matsiyevych demonstrates a broad athletic background.

Linguistically versatile, he has varying levels of proficiency in five languages: Ukrainian, English, Polish, Czech, and Chinese.

Mr Xu has 4 years experience of education, and used to serve as a high school PE teacher and homeroom teacher before joining BBSG.

Mr Xu graduated as a Master from Guangzhou University.

Mr. Melo most recently served as Athletic Director, PE Leader, and Activity Coordinator in Shenzhen. Previously, he worked in Shanghai for two years as a PE teacher and Head of the Football Department. Prior to that, he spent nearly three years in Hangzhou as a PE teacher and Headteacher of Football, where he led his team to victory in the Hangzhou Inter-Schools Football Championship.

Mr. Melo is a certified UEFA football coach, he also played volleyball for over a decade and now enjoys Padel Tennis.

Mr. Melo is fluent in English and Portuguese.

Mr. Cooper holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, specialising in Health and PE (Level 7).

With two decades of sports experience, particularly in Rugby Union, Golf, and Basketball, Mr. Cooper has also coached Rugby Union for over six years, working with children aged 5 to 18.

He served as the Head of the Activities Centre at a school in New Zealand, where he focused on motivating students who face challenges in mainstream education.

Ms. Amber Li holds a Bachelor's in Sports Training from Guangxi Normal University and is pursuing a Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching Methodology at Hubei Normal University, further enhancing her expertise. 

With six years of experience, she previously led PE at a bilingual school in Huizhou, organising sports activities, developing courses, and managing teams. 

Ms. Li follows the philosophy of "Safety First, Fun-Guided Learning," dedicated to helping students overcome water fears, master swimming skills, and promote water safety. In her spare time, Ms. Li practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and boxing, staying physically fit and bringing professional sports skills to her coaching. 

Ms. Carmen Chen holds a Master’s degree from HKSAR, China, giving her advanced expertise in cross-cultural learning and student development. 

With experience in the overseas education sector, Ms. Chen has worked at a study abroad services organisation and an international K-12 school. She specialises in designing personalised pathways that match students’ strengths and ambitions, guiding many to top universities worldwide. 

Her educational philosophy focuses on student-centred learning, believing education should empower individuals to reach their full potential. She values holistic growth, balancing academic excellence with personal development. 

As a native Cantonese speaker, Ms. Chen loves Cantonese culture. Outside work, she is a fitness enthusiast with a blue belt in Taekwondo, and she is passionate about animals and advocating for animal welfare. 

Ms. He holds master's degrees in Prevention Science and Practice from Harvard University and Mental Health Counseling from Boston College, and recieved clinical training in harvard medical school. Her expertise includes designing school bullying prevention programs and supporting children's and adolescents' well-being.

Ms. He has worked with students and families from the US and China. She addresses issues such as peer relationships, identity development, academic stress, and mental health concerns. Ms. He is also passionate about promoting healthy digital identities and integrating media and storytelling into psychotherapy and classroom practices.

Ms. Wang holds a master’s degree in Research Methods of Psychological Science from the University of Glasgow and graduated from a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Beijing Normal University.

She has intensive experience in the psychological field, providing psychological assessments, mental health training, and attention training to children,  families and other clients.

Ms. Xiao is certified as both a positive discipline classroom facilitator and a parent facilitator. Throughout her eight-year career in the field of education, her primary focus has been on nurturing students' social-emotional development. She has been working as a psychology teacher in bilingual and international schools located in Guangzhou and Foshan. Ms. Xiao strongly believes that fostering their emotional well-being is essential for their overall growth and academic success.
