Our Head of Maths, Ms He, shared, "Although Buffon's needle experiment involves knowledge related to calculus, the experiment itself is simple yet challenging for students. This activity can not only deepen their understanding of current knowledge, but also lay a solid foundation for their future studies."

π Challenge for all Students

π is a symbol of infinity, inspiring us with boundless possibilities for imagination and exploration.

Students from all grades eagerly participated in a π digit recitation competition, striving to memorise the longest sequence and become the champion.

The passon for Maths extends beyond Pi Day. In class, our teachers often create scenarios intertwined with real-life experiences, inspiring students to appreciate different perspectives of Maths.

In Primary, teachers utilises diverse teaching resources to stimulate students' senses, fostering both their critical thinking abilities and interest in Maths.Team collaboration is highly encouraged in the process.

In Junior Secondary, teachers emphasise the practical relevance of mathematical concepts to daily life, promoting deeper thinking and understanding through real-life applications."

Additionally, at BBSG, we implement stratified teaching in Maths, offering support or competition coaching in Enrichment Programmes for students with different levels, meeting their personalised needs."

Mathematics is not just a subject, but also a way of thinking. We hope our students could embrace the charm of mathematics and being a life-long active learner through continuous exploration and learning, and enjoy the fun of it.
