Ms. Li has 3 years of experience teaching Chinese culture and Literature in an international school. She was also an advisor who supported students’ after-school activities.

Focusing on the concept of inquiry-based teaching and differentiated teaching, Ms. Li cultivates students' critical thinking, and their personality.

Ms. Li holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese and Literature in International Education from Hong Kong University, and IBDP Chinese teaching certificate.

Mr. Huang majored in Chinese Language and Literature at Hunan Normal University. He has teaching experience as a Chinese Teacher at bilingual schools.

He once won the first prize in the municipal junior high school Chinese language teacher teaching competition, the top prize at the district level of the first Guangdong Provincial Primary and Secondary School Teaching Skills Competition, the bronze prize in the junior high school group of the fourth China International School Teaching Skills Competition, and was honoured as an excellent class teacher in Nanhai District, Foshan City, in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

His educational philosophy is that without love, there is no education.

Maggie holds a degree in Chinese Language and Literature from a 211 university, with focused training in Chinese linguistics, classical literature, and cultural studies. 

As an educator, she develops curricula for bilingual academic programmes, specialising in A-Level and IGCSE Chinese. Her methodology integrates Chinese and Western pedagogical approaches. 

Outside work, she practices calligraphy and Pilates, and enjoys time with cats. 

Ms. Liu is a dedicated educator with experience teaching at universities in Germany, where she fostered language proficiency and cultural appreciation among diverse learners.  

As a primary school Chinese teacher, she creates interactive, immersive lessons that engage students in both Chinese language and culture, fostering curiosity, empathy, and independent thinking. 

Outside the classroom, Ms. Liu enjoys painting, theatre, swimming, and exploring East Asian art and history. She also plays the piano and speaks German. 

Mr. Chen has specialised in mathematics education for over 17 years, teaching in diverse schools offering A Level, AP, and IB programmes. His experience spans working with local and international students from the USA, UK, Africa, and Hong Kong.

Mr. Chen excels in differentiated and personalised instruction for students of varying abilities. He inspires his students to approach learning as explorers and to think like mathematicians. He aims to nurture their curiosity and passion, connecting mathematics to other fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, computer programming, and even music and art.

Ms. Lin has 6 years of experience in bilingual and international schools and organizations. She believes that to teach with love and patience, every flower bossoms in its own time.

Ms. Lin is a qualified teacher with a Master's Degree in Education from Tsinghua University and Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from Ohio State University.

With 10 years of teaching experience, Ms. Luo specialised in bilingual mathematics curriculum, and used to teach International Primary Mathematics in the UK and Australia. She was a founding Mathematics teacher at a school in Shenzhen, the brand manager and international academic forum facilitator at one of the top universities in China.

Ms. Luo conducts student-centered teaching & learning approaches, encourages students to develop critical thinking & problem-solving skills. She’s also good at creating challenging and fun mathematics learning environment. She aims to show her students how learning Math is not only empowering but also therapeutic as they learn to discover new perspectives and challenge old beliefs.

Ms. Luo holds double Bachelor’s Degrees from Sun Yat-sen University and Liverpool Hope University, Master ‘s Degree from University of Sydney.

Ms. Luo enjoys travelling, culture exploring and outdoor sports.

Ms. Huang holds a postgraduate degree in International Education from the University of Manchester UK, graduating with Distinction. This experience has shaped her expertise and vision for an inclusive international educational approach. 

Ms. Huang was a founding staff member in an international bilingual school in Shenzhen, Ms. Huang played a pivotal role in developing bilingual mathematics programmes and establishing assessment structures with international mathematics educators. Her extensive knowledge of the US Common Core Learning Standards and the UK National curriculum enables her to navigate and adapt these frameworks flexibly and effectively, which ensures a cohesive learning experience for students, and makes it more adaptable for Chinese students.  

In Ms. Huang’s Maths classes, students are motivated to actively study, express themselves, and reflect. Her adeptness at designing and delivering lessons fosters students' enthusiasm for mathematics. She excels at identifying students' needs promptly and adjusting study plans accordingly. Ms. Huang inspires students to explore connections between Maths and the world around them. She empowers them with interdisciplinary learning experiences, often incorporating elements from diverse fields such as science, STEAM, and reading. This approach broadens students’ horizons, nurtures curiosity, and cultivates a deeper understanding of how mathematics influences and intersects with real-life scenarios. 

Prior to teaching, Ms. Huang actively participated in International Debate competitions, collaborating with esteemed universities like Cambridge and Oxford, earning prestigious medals. This experience influences her teaching philosophy, as she aims to inspire students to maintain sharp minds and think critically. In her leisure time, Ms. Huang enjoys photography, music, and movies. She’s very delighted to join BBSG and is excited about the prospect of a wonderful year ahead, engaging with students. 

Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor's degree in English Education and two Master's degrees: an MBA and a Master of Secondary Education. He has served as a lead teacher and homeroom teacher at elementary schools in both the United States and Guangzhou. In these roles, he taught mathematics, Chinese, PYP and UOI.

Mr. Wang is dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. He strives to inspire and support his students throughout their academic journeys.

Ms. Li holds a Master's degree in International Education. With over a decade of teaching experience both in China and abroad, Ms. Li has served as a teacher, grade coordinator, and mathematics lesson preparation leader. She excels in teaching with mathematical picture books and designing practical math applications.

Ms. Li is not only an outstanding coach for mathematics competitions but also adept at addressing children's emotional needs. She places a strong emphasis on students' psychological development in her teaching approach.

Mr. Smyth holds a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor Honours degree in Mathematics - both with first-class honours.

With two decades of teaching experience in New Zealand, including service as a principal, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He believes in supporting young people to be confident, resilient, and actively involved life-long learners.

Mr. Liu has 14 years of experience in the education industry, taking on different roles, including Academic Director, Assistant to the Principal and Head of Academics. He was also one of the founding members who helped establish the Secondary School curriculum.

Mr. Liu has been providing advice to students from primary school upwards and their parents, preparing them for university application in advance. Over 80% of his students have achieved top grades (A*/A) in A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics, and have received offers from prestigious universities, including Oxford University, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London, and University of the Arts London.

Mr. Liu holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University and a Master's in Management from the University of Electronic Science and Technology (Chengdu). He is iPGCE certified and has completed all Cambridge Assessment training related to Mathematics and Economics, as well as the IBDP Mathematics (Applications and Interpretations) training. He is also a Duke of Edinburgh's Award certified coach.

Mr. Liu strongly believes in the educational philosophy of Rita Pierson — Kids will never learn from somebody they don’t like. In his spare time, he enjoys weight training and sports performance training.
