As summer arrived in Guangzhou, we wrapped up our second academic year at BBSG.
In the year-end celebrations, we embraced our achievements in A Complete Education and shared heartfelt laughter. We treasure these precious memories as we step into another promising school year.
Celebrating Excellence in Holistic Development
At BBSG, our end-of-year awards celebrate more than academic grades – they recognise each student's progress and holistic growth. During our awards ceremonies, we witnessed students' intellectual curiosity as they delved deeply into subjects and explored knowledge broadly across disciplines. We celebrated their growth mindset and daily determination. Beyond academics, we acknowledged outstanding achievements in the arts, STEAM, sports, and leadership.
For our graduating Primary and Junior Secondary students, this year marks a significant milestone. Within BBSG's 15-year K-12 education pathway, they've completed one chapter and are stepping into more challenging phases. During the Promotion Ceremonies, teachers and younger students shared heartfelt wishes for their seniors. As one Grade 5 graduate eloquently expressed: "We'll carry forward our courage, kindness, and endless curiosity as we strive to make BBSG proud. Today isn't goodbye – it's a new beginning."
A Perfect Balance of Learning and Fun
BBSG's students and teachers approach both learning and fun with 100% creativity.
Just as final assessments concluded, our 24-Hour Shackleton Relay began. Over 120 students, teachers, and parents ran continuously for 24 hours, achieving an impressive 328 kilometres over 1,640 laps!
At our Family Sports Carnival, parents competed alongside teachers and students in various sporting events. These moments of shared determination and encouragement strengthen the bonds between school and families while supporting the physical and mental well-being of BBSG students during the year-end exam season.
Following physical challenges, students embarked on mental adventures. Continuing the exploratory spirit of the "Peter Pan" production, our Primary students became treasure hunters, solving clues through teamwork.

Year-end High Table Dinners
As sunset painted the sky, our academic year's grand finale unfolded at the year-end high table dinners.
BBSG students showcased their talents in diverse musical performances on stage.
The highlight of the celebrations was the 2024-25 House Championship announcement. Throughout the year, our House competition has transcended mere winning and losing – every pink slip earned, every competition fought, strengthened our community spirit. This sense of belonging is fundamental to the BBSG community.
Congratulations to Ginkgo House for defending their Championship title!
As applause fades and the sun rises again, we are ready to start the next chapter.
