Gearing Up for a New Academic Year
28 Aug 2024
It has been a productive summer at BBSG, improving the learning environment and experience for all students and the community, and gearing up for the new academic year. Let’s have a sneak peek before the new academic year commences!
Stronger Faculty Team for Enhanced Learning Experience
We are thrilled to welcome over 70 new faculty members to the BBSG community in the 2024-25 Academic Year. Hailing from across the globe, these educators bring a wealth of experience, global perspectives and a genuine passion for teaching. They are keen to support our students with exploring their interests, delving deep into subjects and embracing personalised learning.
We look forward to the enriching experiences these talented educators will bring to our classrooms.
Do you know?
In addition to teaching subject lessons, our teachers possess an array of hidden talents. Some are multilingual, others are gifted musicians, and a few are avid hikers or enthusiasts of traditional Chinese instruments. These diverse skills will provide our students with even more reasons to anticipate an expanded range of co-curricular activities (CCAs), and helping them discover their own passions and interests.
Whilst students are still enjoying the summer holiday, our teachers have returned more than two weeks early for intensive professional development and new academic year preparations.

Subject and homeroom teams have been busy finalising teaching plans and preparing classrooms. We are all dedicated to ensuring a smooth start of the new academic year.
The BBSG Boarding Programme will welcome more boarding students, with the youngest students coming from Grade 1. Whilst upgrading the Boarding House "De Lodge", the school opened the "Cui Lodge" which is located in the northern area of campus, offering 5-day, 6-day and 7-day boarding options for various families’ convenience.
Our boarding team have thoughtfully decorated the living spaces and customised daily schedules for different age groups, ensuring a smooth transition for our new boarders whilst allowing secondary school students to make the most of their time on campus for higher academic achievements.
