Pastoral Support

For Benenden School Guangzhou, Pastoral Support for our students is central to our vision and ethos. Pastoral support is not only an integral part of the school day (through regular teaching and normal interactions with our students as well as the extra professional support we offer) but also embedded through our co-curricular programme, school wide value-based initiatives and further enhanced to our boarders through the house system. Dedicated pastoral and wellbeing sessions include theme based forums, peer and cross-grades activities or private appointments. Our Parenting Academy leverages our network of education experts to encourage and guide our parents in nurturing their children's well-being, thereby building up a strong school community complementary to our school's ethos. 

Benenden School Guangzhou knows and understands that all children are unique, with individual needs, passions and motivations and as such we wish to offer every opportunity for our students to be able to have the support and, through that, the confidence to reach their full potential, to excel and be the best they can be. We believe that strong Pastoral Support is a key part of this journey.
